Understanding Inventory

Your Inventory refers to the items you have for sale at your store(s).

Products should be unique, but you may have multiple inventory items.

Inventory Examples:

Product: A sneaker

Inventory: Different sizes - 9, 9.5, 10, etc

OR

Product: A handbag

Inventory: Different conditions of the same bag

Inventory & Shopify

Once you mark an inventory for sale in the Frontflip Dashboard, we will automatically update Shopify and the Shopify POS. In Shopify a specific Product Variant will only be able to have one price. For example all Size 10 DS of Shoe A, must be priced the same. Therefore we automatically find the lowest priced inventory for that product variant from Frontflip and update the listing anytime inventory is changed or orders are placed.

The SKU in Shopify will give you the Frontflip Inventory ID that is currently up for sale.
